Meet Recap

Tuesday night, the Lady Spartans defeated Batesville and Rushville, making their record now 3-0. Batesville came to the meet with 19 swimmers, and the Lady Spartans had 10. The meet started off with Diving, and Connersville taking first place by Sydney Huber, and second place by Morgan Charles. The ladies went through the meet, taking first place in all but 4 events in the meet. The ladies were excited to have back Madi Lee for this meet. She could not swim in the first meet due to her number of practices, but came out on Tuesday ready to compete. Madi had a great swim in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
Some other great swims were had by Morgan Geise in the 100 freestyle, reaching her personal best of a 1:02.40, and Hettie Dalrymple dropped 10 seconds off her last race time for the 500 freestyle. Overall, the meet produced great races and times for our Lady Spartans, and we are excited to race again on Thursday against Haggerstown at home.
The final score of the meet was CHS 86, Rushville 14, and CHS 55, Batesville 46. The 9 point difference was scored during diving, where Batesville did not have divers.
