Connersville Swimming/Diving Hosts Pink Out Meet

On December 10th, the CHS Spartans will host the first ever Pink Out meet against the Centerville Bulldogs.  An idea inspired by both team’s coaches to raise money for cancer awareness and research, teams will be raising money through various fundraisers to donate to either the Fayette County or Wayne Country Cancer Societies.

Both teams will be selling pink shirts with the logo “Connersville Wins, Cancer Loses” or “Centerville Wins, Cancer Loses”.  Shirts are short sleeve, and $10 a piece.  They can be purchased from any CHS/Centerville swimmer/diver before December 1st.  CHS checks can be made payable to “CHS Athletic Department”

There will also be donation buckets as you enter the pool, and ribbons to purchase to hang on the pool wall.  The team who raises the least money will have their coaching staff and athletic director thrown in the CHS pool!! (So lets hope that isn’t Darrell!!)

Please come out and support our swimmers and divers, as well as our fundraiser and enjoy a great meet!  We hope to see you there!
