Last night the girlâs Track and Field team traveled to New Castle and won 101-31. First place finishes came from Morgan West in the high jump, 400, and 800. Kylee Elleman in the 100, pole vault, and long jump. Marley Smith in the 1600 and 3200. Kenzi Lynch in the 300 hurdles. Cassie Moore in the shot put. The 3200 meter relay team of West, Hollie Slagel, Sicily Bowling, and Smith. The 1600 meter relay team of Slagel, Lynch, Bowling, and Sydney Moore, and the 400 meter relay team of Elleman, Lynch, Katelyn Burris, and Whitney Owens.
Second place finishes came from Kenzi Lynch in the 100 hurdles, Hollie Slagel in the 400, Katelyn Burris in the 200, Sicily Bowling in the 800,Whitney Owens in the long jump, Amanda Cobb in the discus, Laila Fitzgerald in the high jump, and Kennedy Ferguson in shot put.
Third place finishes came from Laila Fitzgerald in the 100 and 300 hurdles, Whitney Owens in the 100, Megan McNally in the 1600 and 800, Jessica Beckman in the discus, Kylie Jackson in the high jump, and Caroline Arndt in the 3200.
The boys track and field team were victorious against new castle. First place finishes came from Stephen Keaffaber in the 110 hurdles, Toby Musselman in the 1600, Paxton Caldwell in the 400, Wes Smith in the 3200, Mason Sullenberger in the long jump, and Keaffaber and Sullenberger in the pole vault. The 3200 meter relay team of Musselman, Flowers, Noah Sherwood, and Smith.
Second place finishes came from Alec Bell in the 400, Stamm in the 300 hurdles, Terry Flowers in the 800, Toby Musselman in the 3200, and Brendan Robinson in the discus.
Third place finishes came from Andy Stamm in the 110 hurdles, Collin Herron in the 100, Mason Stevens in the long jump, Nick Wethington in the pole vault, Jacob Bentley in the shot put, Wes Smith in the 1600, Jared Isaacs in the 400, Noah Sherwood in the 800, Peyton Caldwell in the 200, Donovan Foreman in high jump, and Isaiah Bennett in the discus.
Both teams will next be in action Thursday at home against Greensburg.
