After a long “Snow Break”, the 7th grade Red team was back in action at the Spartan Arena tonight. They were able to walk off the court with a 35 – 6 win over Union County. Coach Morris was impressed by the way they moved the ball and their ability to see the floor. Leading scorer for the night was Addy Jones with 16, followed by Ahniyah Bennett with 14. Avery Dungan and Ella Miller had 2 each, and Lyla Davidson rounded out the scoring with one. Addy played a great game also pulling down 11 rebounds, 8 steals, and several assist. Cameron Butts and Maddi Harrison had 4 rebounds each. “This was a great team effort, with a lot of hustle.” The 7th grade Red will be back in action on the Road Wednesday when they travel to South Dearborn.
