The 8th grade Red Lady Spartans hosted Union County last night losing in a very tough game 31-26. The Lady Spartan outscored Union County 21-12 in the second half but it wasn’t enough to take the win. Leading the way for the Lady Spartans was Addie Phillips with 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 block. Bre Brock had 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist. Jacey Willhelm had 4 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. Cameron Butts had 3 points and 2 rebounds. Alivia Perry had 2 points and 2 rebounds. Carmen Ruble had 2 points and 1 rebound. Also contributing to the team was Maddie Harrison with 2 rebounds. The Lady Spartans will next be in action Wednesday away against South Dearborn.
